King-McIver Sales, Inc. has been in business since 1956. Since that time, King-McIver has grown into a market leader in the distribution of the Donaldson Corporation, Wisconsin Motor Company, and Detroit Diesel products. King-McIver provides excellent value to its clients through its extensive knowledge base and drive to be a complete solution provider.

In August 2017, King-McIver was purchased by Nelson Oil Company. Nelson Oil was established in 1925 and is a global lubricant and filtration sourcing and distribution company that brings over 90 years of industrial solution experience to King-McIver’s field of expertise. King-McIver’s management team remains with the company and continues to provide the same level of service their clients are accustomed to receiving.

King-McIver is now based in Hickory and has expanded its offerings to include Kohler and Honda parts. Our clients include OEM’s, municipalities, construction companies and contractors, trucking fleets, and ground maintenance concerns. We can also can ship products to customers using UPS or Motor freight carriers.
